LIFT LOBBIES

Lv31&32 1 Market st, Sydney

Transient Spaces:

Lift lobbies, as transient spaces, give all newcomers their first impressions of a building, its businesses and people. They are the gateway to prestige workplaces and hotel/apartment accommodation.  This focus area should be designed to create a seamless experience for all people interacting there.

Lighting, in so many ways, can be the major component to allow these areas to give the very best of experiences but, unfortunately, it is so often overlooked.

Vertical Lighting:

Vertical lighting is an important architectural and interior design aid because it helps to create a sense of height and depth within a space whilst also providing task and accent lighting. It can also define different zone areas within a room and add visual interest to architectural and artistic features.

If properly designed vertical lighting can improve the overall ambiance and mood, making it more comfortable and inviting.

Accent Lighting:

Accent lighting highlights and subconsciously draws the eyes attention to specific objects or architectural features.

It is typically used to illuminate decorative elements such as artwork, sculptures or plants and is meant to give the viewer a sense of depth and dimension.
